It was built in 1455 on the orders of Sultan Mehmet. Suleiman the Magnificent expanded the Grand Bazaar in the 16th century. The structures of the Grand Bazaar attract around 400,000 people each day. It attracts people because of its different shops and exciting atmosphere, which makes it one of the best places to go for visitors. Grand bazaar offers different shops of jewelry, furniture, leatherwear, and traditional Turkish sweets.
